Description
What a treat this new balsamic is! Amazingly complex, you will find layers of authentic espresso and dark roasted coffee. A favorite glaze for pork and salmon, or marinate beef for a Kona steak-like boost. Drizzle on ice cream and berries. Exquisite used as an โaffogato floatโ which calls for one part espresso balsamic to four parts vanilla bean ice cream or gelato. I put it in my baked beans before they cooked and it was probably the best ones I ever made. Everyone was complimenting.
When I want a rich, bold flavor on a steak (especially a skirt steak), I do the following:ย salt and pepper, rub meat with Garlic or Chipotle olive oil, Espresso balsamic, a sprinkle of dry coffee grounds (un-used) and then marinate in a baggie at least over night.ย Longer is better and then grill.ย It is mouth watering. It is decaf espresso in this Balsamic.
