Madagascar is an island country in the Indian Ocean off the coast of East Africa. These flavorful peppercorns have digestive properties, anti-oxidents and anti-inflammatory effects. The peppercorns grow in clusters. The green peppercorns are dried in the sun for several days and the husks take on a beautiful black color. It is a concentrate of essences of woody and fruity notes. It pairs beautifully with our Sicilian lemon balsamic on salads, potatoes and of course chicken or fish!
