Strawberry &
Burrata Salad
with Wild Raspberry Balsamic
Fresh, vibrant, and ready in 15 minutes flat. This salad tastes like summer decided to show off — and one bottle of our Wild Raspberry Balsamic is the reason why.
Burrata and balsamic is one of those combinations that sounds almost too simple — until you try it. The creaminess of the cheese, the sweetness of ripe strawberries, the peppery bite of arugula, and then a drizzle of our Wild Raspberry Balsamic that ties it all together in the most extraordinary way.
Our Aged Cascadian Wild Raspberry White Balsamic is one of those bottles that stops people mid-taste at our tasting stations. It's intensely fruity without being sweet — there's a tartness to it, a brightness, that makes everything it touches taste more alive. Over the gentle creaminess of fresh burrata, it's nothing short of stunning.
The best part? This takes 15 minutes, no cooking required, and looks like something you'd pay $22 for at a nice restaurant. It's the kind of dish that makes you look like you really know what you're doing in the kitchen — and the secret is basically just us.
The Art of the Dressed Salad
Most people overdress salads. The secret — especially when your dressing is as expressive as an aged balsamic — is restraint. Let the balsamic do the heavy lifting. Drizzle it over last, directly on the plate, so you control exactly where the flavor lands. No mixing bowl needed. No emulsifying. Just pour and go.
The best salad dressing isn't mixed in a jar — it's composed directly on the plate, layer by layer, with a little of this and a little of that. Our Wild Raspberry Balsamic is so good it barely needs company.
— The Olive 'n Vinnie's KitchenWe love pairing this with our Arbosana Extra Virgin Olive Oil — a delicate Chilean varietal with notes of green apple and almond that complements the berry without fighting it. Drizzle the oil first, then the balsamic. Oil on the greens, balsamic on the burrata. Trust us on this one.

Strawberry & Burrata Salad with Wild Raspberry Balsamic
No cooking, no stress — just the freshest flavors of summer on one plate.
What You'll Need
- 2 balls fresh burrata (about 8 oz total)
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled & halved
- 4 cups baby arugula
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tbsp Aged Cascadian Wild Raspberry White Balsamic
- 2 tbsp Olive 'n Vinnie's Arbosana EVOO
- Flaky sea salt & cracked black pepper
- Optional: candied walnuts, prosciutto, edible flowers
How to Make It
- Arrange the arugula across a large platter or into individual bowls. Scatter basil leaves throughout.
- Tuck the strawberry halves in and around the greens.
- Tear the burrata open and nestle the pieces across the salad — let all that creamy goodness spill out.
- Drizzle the EVOO over everything first — it coats the greens and acts as the base.
- Now drizzle the Wild Raspberry Balsamic in a deliberate, generous pour — over the burrata especially.
- Finish with flaky salt and cracked pepper. Serve immediately.
Make It Your Own
This salad is a wonderful canvas. Swap strawberries for sliced peaches in late summer, or use a mix of raspberries and blackberries for a triple-berry version. A crumble of goat cheese works beautifully if you can't find burrata. Even a drizzle over a simple caprese — tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil — is absolutely remarkable.
The Wild Raspberry White Balsamic makes a stunning zero-proof drink — just 1–2 tablespoons in a tall glass of sparkling water with fresh mint and a squeeze of lime. Your guests will think you've been moonlighting as a mixologist. We stock it in sizes from 60ml all the way to 750ml.
