How to Use Strawberry Kiwi Balsamic Vinegar

• Fruit salad and fresh berries — Spoon it over strawberries, melon, or a mixed fruit bowl. Add torn mint if you have it.
• Spinach salads — Whisk 1 part balsamic to 3 parts olive oil. Good on spinach with goat cheese and sliced almonds.

What does it taste like?

Sweet ripe strawberry up front, tart kiwi behind it, with the clean acidity of a good balsamic underneath. Fruity, not sugary.

Is this a dark or white balsamic?

Dark. It has a fuller body than the white versions, and it won't disappear on a plate the way a white balsamic does.

Can I use it in drinks?

Yes, and it's one of our favorite ways to use it. Try a splash in sparkling water or lemonade.

Do I have to mix it with olive oil?

No. On fruit or a mild green it's fine on its own. For a dressing, 1 part balsamic to 3 parts oil is the standard ratio.
